Privacy policy
Canada Robotics International collects as little as possible, keeps it in one place, and never sells or shares it. This page explains exactly what happens to your information.
What we collect

Why we keep it
- To send you the brief you asked for, once a month.
- To answer your message when you write to us.
- To prove consent. Canada's anti-spam law requires us to show when and how you agreed to receive email. That is why the consent wording, the date and the scrambled IP are stored.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent, trade or share the subscriber list with anyone, including manufacturers, sponsors and partners.
- We never use your address for anything other than the brief and replies to you.
- We do not profile you, and we do not track which links you click.
Who else touches your data
Only the services that make the site work:

| Resend | Delivers our email. It sees your address and the content of the brief. |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typeface. Loading a page therefore reveals your IP address to Google, as it would on most websites. We set no cookies through it. |
How long we keep it
Subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only the record that consent existed and was withdrawn, for up to three years, because anti-spam law requires us to be able to prove it. Contact messages are kept for up to three years so we can follow up on a conversation.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of every email. It takes effect immediately.
- Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct or erase it, and we will, apart from the consent record described above.
Write to [email protected]. We answer within a few days.
Security
Data is held in Cloudflare's infrastructure and reached only over encrypted connections. Access is limited to the President and Chair. We do not store passwords, payment details or any special category of personal information, and we never ask for them.
Where your data lives
The site and database run on Cloudflare's global network, and email is delivered through Resend. Your information may therefore be processed outside Canada and be subject to the laws of those countries.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the monthly brief.
